1.  Introduction

The MyAdTV tab provides you visibility to and control over your account activities and profiles.  From this tab you can view, edit, and expand your user and display location accounts.  In addition, it controls account password changes.  And finally, it provides billing history reviews including the amount you owe in the next 30 days (always zero for the free Starter package).

2.  Account Summary Tab

Account Summary is the first sub tab under the MyAdTV tab.  Account Summary provides a summary of your User Account characteristics.

In addition it allows you to: change password, list accounts, list display locations, list active ads in each display location, list active ads in each user accounts, and see purchase details.

The left column lists overall account summary information:

The right hand column provides links to important account detail information:

These links display the results directly on the primary Account Summary tab screen.

The sole exception is the Change Password link.  Clicking this link changes the Account Summary tab presentation into a Change Password screen as shown below:

From this screen, change the password by entering the Current Password, the New Password, and the Retype New Password fields.  Press the ‘Submit’ button to complete the change.

3.     User Profile Tab

User Profile is the second sub tab under the MyAdTV tab.  User Profile provides viewing and editing for all user accounts that you control.  User Profile displays the recorded User info for the user account shown in the first field, Account Logon Name.  View additional user accounts by selecting from the drop down list at Account Logon Name.

The left hand column holds every parameter entered at the time of User Account creation.
(Note:  the User Account Password value is secured by displaying only XXXXXXX.)

The right hand column holds two links:

The first link changes the screen to allow you to Change the User Account Password.  You enter the Current Password, the New Password, and the Retype New Password field.  Then you press the ‘Submit’ button to complete the change.

The second link displays, in place on the screen, a list of display locations for the User Account selected.

Pressing the ‘Edit’ button allows you to change all account parameters shown on the left hand column.

Next to the ‘Edit’ button is the ‘Unsubscribe User Account’ button. This allows you to cancel the user account selected in the ‘Account Logon Name’ field. This will totally and permanently remove the user account.  Only use this when you are absolutely certain you need to cancel an account.  There will be NO MEANS of restoring any information LOST.

Below the ‘Edit’ button is the two PayPal buttons for User Account Upgrade. You only need to upgrade this User Account if you want to assign an admin to this account. Otherwise, don’t upgrade this User Account.

3.1   Edit User Account Profile

To edit information on your user profile, click on the ‘Edit’ button on the ‘User Profile’ page. You can edit any data field displayed inside the text box. You can also click on the ‘Change Password’ link to change the password of this User Account. You can click on the ‘List Display Locations’ to see a list of display locations that are under this User Account.

Above the ‘Account Description’ field are two radio buttons:  Assign Admin, and Don’t Assign Admin.  To retain account authority, select ‘Don’t Assign Admin’.  To delegate authority over to another User Account, select the Assign Admin radio button and enter another valid Account Logon Name. There is no drop down menu for you to choose from, you must obtain the Account Logon Name directly from the person who you want to assign to. The Admin may lie outside of your account structure. Remember when you assign your account to an Admin, any accounts that are under you will be accessible by this Admin. The ‘Assign Admin’ function provides the flexibility for you to organize your account structure when your business begins to growth and requires multiple user and player accounts. It also allows you to merge two or more account structures into a single one. Click here to get more details on ‘Building an Account Structure’.

To complete your edits click the ‘Submit Changes’ button.  Otherwise, click the ‘Back’ button.

4.  Display Location Profile

Display Location Profile is the third sub tab under the MyAdTV tab.  Display Location Profile provides a summary of display location info.

Clicking ‘Change Password’ link allows you to change the password of the ‘Display Location’ account listed in ‘Select Location’ field. The ‘Change Password’ routine is the same as the one mentioned in Section 1.1.

Near the bottom of the screen, there is the ‘Unsubscribe Display Location’ button.

This allows you to cancel the Player account.  If you have the free starter package, canceling the display location account will cripple the overall account.

If you have a paying display location account which you no longer need, you may cautiously use the ‘Unsubscribe’ button.

Warning:  once a display location account is cancelled, you will no longer be able to access the content previously available in that Player display location account.

Near the bottom left of the screen there is the ‘Edit’ button.

Below the ‘Edit’ button are four PayPal Subscribe buttons used to pay for the account upgrades.

When you first sign up for a free MyAdTV account, you have one user account and one display location account (a.k.a., player account) which allows you to create 7 ads per frame.  To display additional ads, you must upgrade your account to either Standard or Professional level.   Monthly and yearly subscription rates are available for each.  The four PayPal Subscribe buttons enable payments for:  Standard Monthly, Standard Yearly, Professional Monthly, and Professional Yearly

To upgrade your account, click on the appropriate PayPal Subscribe button.  The screen will switch to the PayPal Secure Online Payment Service where you will find instructions to guide you through the payment process.

PayPal, a subsidiary of EBay, provides secure online transaction services for millions of customers worldwide.  If you do not have a PayPal account already, you will be asked to create an account in PayPal.  This PayPal account enables you to pay for your MyAdTV subscriptions with your credit card or checking account.

Future subscription charges will go to the same credit card or checking account.  Charges will occur monthly or annually depending on the type of subscription you choose.

For security purpose, you should use a different password from your MyAdTV account.

After the payment transaction has been completed, you will be redirected back from PayPal to where you were in MyAdTV.  In this instance you return to the Display Location Profiles sub tab of the MyAdTV tab.

4.1 Edit Display Location Profiles

From the ‘Display Location Profile’ sub tab, click on the ‘Edit’ button.  This allows you to edit any information on this account, change the owner of this Player account to another user, assign a different template or make this Player account as a mirror account of another Player account (for Standard and Professional package only).

The Change Account Owner field (near the bottom, below Location Description) allows you to assign another user who is under you as the new owner of the account.  This way, you can delegate the content management responsibility to another person in your team or organization.  Once you assign to a new owner, both you and the new owner will be able to access this Display Location for ad creation, editing and display. Since you have a higher admin level than the new owner of this Display Location, you still can override any content that the new owner put in.

You may leverage this feature once your store or company has subscribed to multiple user accounts.

The Assign Template field allows you to change the display template for this Display Location. Each Display Location is assigned to one of the 9 templates available to you.  You can change it as often as you want, but you can only use one template at a time.  You must remember that all the content you have previously created will be lost once you select a new template.

Another strategy is to set a display location account to mirror another player account.  Changes on the source account are automatically displayed on the mirror account.  ‘Assign Template’ and ‘Mirror Another Location’ are mutually exclusive. You can only choose one or the other. If you set this Display Location to mirror another Display Location, all content creation and editing must be done in the location account that is being mirrored. To set to mirror another display location, click on the radio button in the Mirror Another Display Location field and select the location to be mirrored from the drop down menu.  You may leverage this feature once your store or company has subscribed to multiple display location accounts.

5.  Add Display Location

Add Display Location allows you to create another display location account.  You need to subscribe to another Display Location account whenever you want to display more than one digital signage screen. You will be able to create different content for each of the Display Location accounts you subscribe to or you can simply assign a Display Location to display the same content as another Display Location. You can manage every display location from the same user login account. Click here to see more details in building account structure.

Please complete all the data entry fields.  The first six fields describe your business.  Fill them out clearly and accurately.

For example, the business name could be something like: ‘FBN Corporate Store’.  Similarly business type could be something like: ‘Dry Cleaner’ or ‘Convenience Store’ or ‘Real Estate Sales’.

Accurately enter the Business Hours, Foot Traffic/Month, Contact First Name, and Contact Last Name.

The seventh field is ‘Location Logon Name’.  It must be unique.  You may be prompted to select a different name than your first choice.

Next enter the ‘Location Password’ and ‘Confirm Location Password’ fields with the same value.

You can either choose to ‘Assign Template’ (i.e., picking a layout template from the drop down list) or to ‘Mirror Another Display Location’ as described in the previously paragraph.

Enter your web site URL address.  And then enter a descriptive Location Description.

Now press the ‘submit’ button. You will be prompted that all the information you entered has been validated and that you are now ready to subscribe by clicking on one of the four PayPal Subscribe buttons. Follow the same PayPal payment procedure as described at the end of section 4 ‘Display Location Profile’.

6.  Add User Accounts

Add User Account allows you to add a separate user account with a different logon name and a different password from your user account so that you can delegate some of the content management responsibilities to another person in your company. You can also assign which Display Location account that you want this user to handle. Since you are the admin of this new user account, you can monitor all activities performed by this new user. You have the admin right to override any content that is posted by the new user. On the other hand, the content that is posted by you can only be viewed by the new user without any editing right. You can have multiple user accounts under you. You will be able to view all content posted by these users from your account. However, each user that is under you can only see his or her content only. In other words, each account user that is under you will have a separate working environment. Click here to see more details in building account structure.

Enter accurate data into each field, including:

Choose the correct value for ‘Assign Display Location’ from the drop down list. You may choose ‘Do Not Assign’ if you don’t want to assign any Display Location at this time. You may subscribe to a new Display Location later on and assign this new user as the owner of the new Display Location. Or you may use this new user account for ad exchange only, in this case, you don’t need to attach a Display Location to this new user account.

Then continue entering accurate information for:

Finally, enter accurate and appropriate info into the ‘User Account Description’.

Complete the creation of the new User Account by pressing the ‘submit’ button.

You will be prompted to utilize PayPal buttons at the bottom of the screen and complete the transaction process.

7.  Billing Info Tab

Billing Information is the sixth sub tab under the MyAdTV tab.  Billing Information allows you to search for and display important billing information.  Show and Period are key elements of searching for billing information.

Show allows you to qualify what you are searching for (all, Logon Name, or Account No). Select the type of search you want by clicking on the radio button and then select the item to be searched from the drop down menu.

Period allows you to qualify when.  Either choose a time period Within (Past Month, Past Week, Past Year) or choose an actual ‘From’ and ‘To’ date range.

After setting Show and Period, press the ‘Search’ button and you will see billing info results.  Those results are presented below the ‘Search’ button in two columns.

The lower left column holds quantitative info including:

The lower right hand column holds expandable links labeled:
